There are basically two methods of recording services provided to clients - event driven and manually entered. For those service events that originate in highly structured programs like Head Start or LIHEAP, service events are automatically recorded by those modules and passed to Client Tracking . Other kinds of services like referrals, counseling, and related services not originating in one of these programs, are entered through a single screen that adds these services to the database. In either case the objective is to be able to measure the results and outcomes of services delivered.

Statistics required for CSBG are provided automatically by the system. Units of service provided to clients are counted by individuals served and by families served, duplicated and unduplicated. There are on-line inquiry screens that allow you to look up any client and see all services provided to that client and all other family members, detailing the service, date of service, cost, benefit, value to the client, and the results and outcomes of the service.
