Training

Installation

When a new customer purchases CAPTAIN, we install the software on site and customize it to meet the characteristics and requirements of the agency. We meet with the users and apply parameters in our software that reflects the options and choices of the agency. We also set up user accounts and passwords, assist in locating workstations, set up print queues, test the operating system and perform any necessary steps to tailor it to the new installation.

Maintenance

We maintain the software in a state that accurately reflects program regulations and governing laws and any changes are reflected in the software as soon as we are made aware of those changes. Changes in tax laws, reporting requirements, changing mandates, and any other related issues are addressed as soon as CAPS is aware of them. Changes in tax related forms like 1099s, W2s, 941, and others are made routinely each year. Program regulation changes that affect programmatic modules like LIHEAP or Head Start are also reflected in the software immediately. We also constantly improve the system from suggestions made by our users and from improvements that we originate when we see opportunities to improve efficiency and work flow and reduce the work load on users.
